Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd. ( Cholamandalam) reported a robust 25% year-on-year growth in its net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of FY25, reaching Rs 1,088 crore, compared to Rs 872 crore in the same period last year. The company’s net interest income (NII) saw a significant increase of 33%, rising to Rs 2,892 crore, up from Rs 2,566.4 crore in Q3 FY24.

However, the company’s gross non-performing asset (NPA) ratio saw a slight increase to 4%, compared to 3.78% in the previous quarter. Similarly, the net NPA ratio rose to 2.66% from 2.48% in Q2 FY25. The provision coverage ratio stood at 44.1%, slightly lower than the 44.5% recorded in the previous quarter.
